Hello, wonderful Colleagues! WE at Tri-C really enjoyed hosting the District IV High School Solo and Ensemble Event and are ready to do it again!
The 2011 OMEA District IV Junior High Solo and Ensemble Adjudicated Event will be held at Cuyahoga Community College, Western Campus, in Parma on Saturday, April 9th 2011. The Entry Deadline in Saturday March 12, and all entries must be done in the on-line program.
Just go to the State OMEA web-site. (www.omea-ohio2.org) Log in with your name and MENC membership number, then click to go to the Adjudicated Event page. Click on Solo and Ensemble, and when you are on this page, go down to Data Entry registration button or click on the WEB APPLICATION ACCESS. You will need to login by re-entering your name and MENC number!!! Then follow the instructions and move through the process. This is the only way we can accept entries!
Once you are finished registering, (which can be done over several sessions), print out the completed form, and send it, along with your payment OR P.O., to the address at the top of the form, which is:

Directors teaching in multiple districts or schools must send a separate entry and check for each school. All choral/instrumental entries may be sent together or separately by department.
Please note: The fee structure for contest is a little different. Solos are $12.00 and Ensembles are $16.00. Once again this information is available on the OMEA website. All participating directors are required to be members of OMEA. A copy of your membership card should accompany the entries. Be sure you are familiar with the rules and regulations. Again all information is available in the Triad or on the OMEA site. Payment The check or PO must still be postmarked by March 12, 2011.
